On Location at ACG LA Business Conference

Yesterday was full on high-powered meetings, networking and deal making at the Beverly Hilton. After the evening reception we retired to the Staker Beach Compound at Dana Point. We reviewed Sunday's episode of Shark Tank and brain stormed into the wee hours of the morning.

Today, its lunch with Condoleezza Rice and Paul Volcker then more deal making. Look for another Update to night.

As Seen on TV

If you have Cable, Dish or DirectTV you probable have channels that you don't even know exist. Last night I discovered the JLTV: Jewish Life TV. It might have been Channel 840 or something. Only recent I realized that I could watch the Sports Mix which carried the US Open Tennis Tournaments on channels 702, 703, 704, 705, 706, 707and 708 all at the same time. I was in 'tennis heaven'.

Back to JLTV. So its Saturday night and I am up late. There was nothing new on the news channels and I was not ready to sleep. Flicking around, I found a documentary. As a film and television producer who is currently working on several documentaries, I love watching news and documentary programs. I found the Hank Greenspun Story and I was hocked. I watched to the end and then it started again and watched from the beginning then pass the point where I first started. This was a riveting story of terror, war in the middle east, Las Vegas, Howard Hughes, the mob, FBI, Sen. Mc Carthy and more.

If there is BET, MTV, CMC, why was I surprised to find JLTV? It took a while but I grew to like Hank Greenspun. He took on the establishment, politicians, the mob, the Arab world and anyone he pleased. He was a media man. He owned a magazine, newspaper, radio station and TV station. He used his column, "Where I Stand" to set the record straight. I plan to use my blogs in much the same way.

By the end of the show, I really liked this guy. I will be watching JLTV. You should too.

Random Thoughts and Ideas

The key to success is to give up everything except your dreams. Share your talents & gifts liberally and good rewards will result. Do it Now

My family keeps me in focus. They are quick to inform me when I am fuzzy. I started today on the tennis court then I relaxed and got focused. I am having a great day

I plan to listen to Pres Obama on Health Care Reform. Are you one of the uninsured? Do something, Call Congress. We need Affordable Health Care for all in the USA.
